CompressAR Discs
Comfort Discs SuperComfort™ Discs -- As part of the new CompressAR® StrongArm SuperComfort System, the Model 5303 SuperComfort Discs provide more stable Disc positioning for a secure compression. The SuperComfort Disc's new sure-grip elastomeric material and durable connection to the StrongArm SuperComfort Stand, together with the V-Notch, help improve patient satisfaction, as well as enable simple, routine hemostasis.

Comfort Discs 3-Finger Jack® Discs -- As part of the new CompressAR® StrongArm System, the Model 5301 3-Finger Jack Discs increase patient comfort during the hemostasis period, and provide more stable Disc positioning for a secure compression. 3-Finger Jack's new sure-grip material and unique pivoting action, together with the V-Notch, help improve patient satisfaction, as well as enable simple, routine hemostasis.

Comfort Discs Comfort™ Discs -- Available in several sizes for the CompressAR Universal System, these Discs provide additional comfort for patients during mechanical compression and feature the unique, patented V-Notch. The Comfort Discs have rounded, up-curved edges to provide a gradual contour with the body surface when compression is applied; there are no hard edges to create discomfort. Comfort Discs have been the industry standard in disposable compression discs for over 15 years.

CompressAR Discs compatible with the CompressAR Universal include:

  • Model 5187 -- Large Comfort Disc -- most frequently used Disc for nearly all types of patients.
  • Model 5197 -- Oval Comfort Disc -- often used on thin patients.
  • Model 5207 -- Jumbo Comfort Disc -- sometimes used for double-stick (arterial and venous) hemostasis or on obese patients.

V-Notch -- The generous space in the unique, patented V-Notch, present on all CompressAR discs, enables clinicians to maintain proper compression at all times. The V-Notch helps clinicians: 1) properly place the disc on the patient, 2) keep the puncture site clear of blood, and 3) observe the puncture site during compression release, to ensure that new oozing does not occur.
