Manual Compression

ComfortPress™ Vascular Compression Assist Device

Product Overview

The ComfortPress™ is an ergonomic, sterile, disposable external compression device. ComfortPress is designed to enhance comfort for the practitioner and the patient when applying femoral artery compression. Practitioners apply external pressure using ComfortPress in much the same way that they would when applying manual pressure. In a study performed by Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, use of the ComfortPress device to achieve femoral artery hemostasis was shown to reduce the incidence of hematoma formation vs. manual compression.
